Directory Watch
A Server Side application to monitor queues. Perform actions based on a set threshold. Either restart a server side application, run a program, send email notifications. Automate the monitoring and recovery of your application server. Typical applications would be to monitor Fax, mail, and print servers for a denial of service attack, bottleneck, and application failure. Why use Directory Watch????? 1. It runs as an NT service which is not affected by the log on/off process. It is a Server-Side application. 2. It can send out SMTP alerts which can be used to mail-enable an existing application or inform you of a event in a directory/queue. 3. You can configure every aspect of Directory Watch and there are no restrictions or limitations to what you can do with it. Configuration can be changed without requiring a reboot or restart of Directory Watch services. 4. Lightning fast scanning using low level CPU instructions. 5. It uses only 2mb of memory, all files are located in one directory. Its easy maintain. Customers have used Directory Watch to monitor MAILsweeper, MS Exchange, and other mail servers.
