It is achieved by creating virtual serial ports, which are same copies as real one. Every application will think that it is working with serial port in exclusive mode. One of them will be able also to send data to real serial port. Virtual Serial Ports can have any port number from 1 to 255. With ELTIMA Serial Splitter it is possible to connect two or more applications to one real serial port. For example you can share GPS Receiver between several applications.
